Our final LGP Forum for 2018 will be a giant two hour interactive legal Q & A hosted by James McEwen and our Local Government team.
This forum will focus specifically on asset management, property, procurement, commercial contracts and projects (Focus Areas).
In the first part of the programme, we will provide attendees with an overview of recent legislative changes and future changes on the horizon that will impact on Councils in the Focus Areas.
We will examine the significant implications of a recent Supreme Court case that has changed the way that Councils deal with Community Land Management Plans.
We will also discuss different models and trends for managing recreation centres and large sporting and community hubs. From testing the market to locking in a management agreement, we will look at what is hot and what is not in the LG sector.
The second part of the programme will be devoted entirely to an interactive legal Q & A session. This will cover questions provided by attendees to us in advance, as well as those taken live from the floor on the day. To submit your question, please click here.
If you are an LG professional who works in property, procurement, commercial contracts and projects, this forum is for you and one not to be missed.
