Andrew

Andrew was admitted to practice in 1978 and joined Mellor Olsson in 1981. He has qualifications in Law and Economics.

He represents corporations and private clients in the areas of commercial, property, trade practices, finance, mining, insolvency, insurance and contract law.

Andrew has acted in the Federal and Supreme Courts on matters including a corporate takeover action, a margin lending dispute, fraudulent misappropriation of trust funds as well as large personal injuries claims for overseas clients.

He has also advised clients on major asset sales and purchases, including the negotiation of contracts involving CBD buildings and rural developments.

His clients include substantial private family companies where he provides advice in relation to their general corporate, succession, and commercial issues.

Andrew has represented rural landowners in relation to mining and exploration claims and access agreements and is regularly involved in the resolution of farm succession disputes.

Andrew is also a regular monthly columnist with Rural Press Ltd's Stock Journal.

Andrew is a past President (2002-2003) and Treasurer of The Law Society of South Australia, and the current Managing Partner of Mellor Olsson.
