Janelle has been working in legal firms since early 2014. She started with Mellor Olsson in 2015 initially in an administrative role, supporting a number of practice areas across the firm.
Following the completion of her law degree, she was employed as a law clerk at the start of 2018 and spent the next year working across a broad range of commercial and property matters. In this role, Janelle provided crucial administrative support to senior team members, drafting advices and assisting with drafting leases, agreements, deeds and other property law documents. In early 2019, Janelle was promoted to a Solicitor role.
She continues to work closely with senior members of our team with clients across the Local Government sector and private business. Her work encompasses a wide range of commercial, property and infrastructure projects. Specifically, this includes drafting documentation for commercial contracts, service agreements, procurement, sale and purchase of land, community land, encroachments, compulsory acquisition, management and funding agreements, Crown land, roads, governance and policy development. Janelle also assists in a number of areas relating to Local Government Act 1999 (SA) and administrative law.
Janelle was admitted to practice in 2018. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from Flinders University and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law and is a member of the Law Society of South Australia.
